Stinking Chamomile pull Tuesday July 12 and Wednesday July 13.
Help us stop the spread of Stinking Chamomile (Anthemis cotula). We would like to eliminate this plant from the project site without using an herbicide if possible. Your help will be paramount in doing so.
We will be hand pulling Stinking Chamomile from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
Please dress appropriately for variable weather and wind. We recommend long pants that you don’t mind getting wet and/or dirty, long-sleeved shirts, gloves, sturdy boots and a hat depending on conditions. Bring plenty of water and a snack.
Details:
Meet at 9 am at the drift yard parking area off of Hwy 2 between Hope and Clark Fork.
We will board a small motor boat that will take us to the restoration site. Be prepared to walk through rocky and uneven terrain.We will return to the drift yard parking area at 12 pm.
